DEVELOPER PROCUREMENT
CASE STUDY: NAR OUSE, KINGS LYNN

In West Norfolk, DTP advised the Borough Council of King’s Lynn on the implementation of a mixed-use development framework for over 50 hectares of land, which includes the UK’s fourth Millennium Community, a new business park and a marina adjacent to King’s Lynn’s historic Old Town.

Our role was to shape an Implementation Plan and provide general funding advice. We also devised and oversaw a two-stage process to procure a development partner; provided advice on structuring a complicated development agreement between the Council and a landowner; assessed a proposal to create marina; and prepared a detailed business plan for a £10m package of associated community facilities.
