CASE STUDY: BLETCHLEY

DTP were appointed by EP and the Bletchley Development Board (BDB) to provide a long-term development management capacity to take forward a Regeneration Framework for Central Bletchley. The masterplan contained a number of potential projects and an early task was to assess and prioritise projects in terms of their feasibility and viability and to then recommend how the partners should proceed.

We prepared a detailed review paper with a suggested “way forward” for each project and then a detailed Delivery Framework setting out the approach and tasks to be followed for each project. The priority projects involve radical changes to the town’s railway station, two comprehensive mixed use redevelopment opportunities and the replacement of an existing Leisure Centre.

DTP have been retained to manage the process of implementing these scheme working with landowners, the BDB and regeneration agencies.
